The Megalithic Portal News Digest is our hand picked selection of the best recent site and photo submissions from our contributors, along with news and other updates. It is sent out roughly every 10 days, give or take. Our newsletter is different to other archaeology news sources because almost all items are geolocated using our site database, so you can see the location of the ancient site featured an a map, with links to others nearby. If you would like to receive our news digest there are various easy ways to sign up.

1. Sign up for a Megalithic Portal user ID

This is free and only needs you to choose an ID, put in your email address and tick the Newsletter box. You can sign up here. You will receive your first e-mail newsletter within one to two weeks.

If you already have a Megalithic Portal user ID, click on 'Your Own Page' in the menu to the left. Then click on 'Change Your Info'. There are various other settings can fiddle with but the one you want is right at the bottom of the page. Look for 'Receive e-mail newsletter?' and choose Yes (or No to Unsubscribe). Finally click on 'Save Changes' at the bottom and that's it. If you've previously joined and forgotten what your ID is, or didn't receive a password, or are otherwise stuck, please don't hesitate to email andy@megalithic.co.uk for assistance.

2. Twitter

You can follow all our updates on Twitter, this way you can see the latest from our fora as well as news updates and the occasional live update from Andy B.

3. Facebook

Our updates are also echoed on Andy B's Facebook page, you are very welcome to add him as a friend and follow us this way. If you would prefer just to see the main news items then you can follow our official Facebook page which is here. Be aware that Andy rarely uses Facebook and doesn't reply to messages on Facebook Messenger. Please email andy@megalithic.co.uk instead, thanks.

4. Via our News List at Groups.io

You can sign up for our News Mailing List, as all e-mail news updates are also sent there. Feel free to sign up to this list. That's all the group is used for so you won't get any other emails you don't want.

5. RSS headlines

This allows you to view headlines from lots of different sources on one page, here you can follow our News updates , latest Forum posts or new images posted to our gallery.

You can link to the RSS feed reader from your phone or any other news feed reader. Personally I like this option as you can follow our news along with everything else you're interested in, and look like you're still working!

Go on, sign up for our newsletter or news feed now.

Wondering about the pyramids on the Kola Peninsula (Finland/Russia). I can find photos but no info or co-ordinates. Anyone in the group know anything?

It seems the Megalithic Portal is dedicated to prehistory and usually does not feature mountains.

*ancient druid amulet necklace found at Stonehenge England. *professor Michael deviney ancient civilizations research and archeology. Also, paranormal research and artifact recovery at Stonehenge England. 1980 to 2019. *my story - "I was metal detecting by the slaughter stone at Stonehenge in the rain a few months ago.. When I detected an object at about 6ft deep. I dug up an ancient druid amulet necklace made with diamonds and rubies in the form of a pentacle design. Surprised, I brought the charm back home to south Louisiana and began to examine more closely the chain. That''''s when all the trouble started to happen to me! First my cat was found dead in the living room hanging from the curtain strings.. My dog levitated in the hallway.. My phone rang off the hook all day and no-one talked except for growling noises! My television turned on by itself and voices of ancient Gallic spirits threatened to kill me! My car started on its own several times. My kitchen caught on fire. My water spouts turning on all over the house. I was beaten silly in my bed at night constantly and objects smashed on the walls! But the final issue was me being pushed down the stairs and trampled by demons laughing at me and cursing! So I placed the evil druid amulet in a cigar box with a rosary of St Mary and took it to the basement and locked it in my steel money safe! I now know what occurred at Stonehenge many centuries ago and dark magic forces ruled the day! I would hate to see this amulet fall into the wrong persons hands! Placing this amulet in a museum setting environment would be to dangerous! So I contacted your organization in hopes of finding a solution and what to do with the demonic thing? Any suggestions would be welcome at this point in time! Thanks again and may God richly bless you today! Professor Michael deviney south Louisiana.

I've got plenty to say, on all sorts of subjects, so looking forward to some interesting conversations!!
