Adam's Graves Round Barrows 2 submitted by Horatio : This view shows the size and extent of the barrow, on either side can be seen the ditches where the material required to build the mound including the chalk to finally cover it was quarried. This is consistent with the design of all the long barrows in Wiltshire but in most cases these ditches have been lost to the plough.
