Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the top of the second cairn from the south (Vote or comment on this photo)
Four cairns on Dartmoor in a rough north/south line, each cairn gets smaller as you go towards the north. The three southern cairns are spaced 120m apart, the smallest northern one is 175m away and not marked on the OS map.

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor)
Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the fourth cairn from the south (yeah the most northerly then!) and the smallest. The cairns get smaller as you head towards the north (I imagine ther must be a reason for this). This the most northerly cairn is also slightly further away than the evenly spaced out other cairns, Ryder's hill cairn is in the background on the left (Vote or comment on this photo)

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the third cairn from the south and the third smallest. For some reason the cairns get smaller as you head towards the north (Vote or comment on this photo)

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor)
Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the third cairn from the south is smaller again and has less exposed stone but is the highest of the 4 cairns, I liked it here the most! (Vote or comment on this photo)

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the second cairn from the south has cracking views

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor)
Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the second cairn from the south is higher but smaller than it's larger southern neighbour. In the background on the right is the next smaller but higher cairn to the north

Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor)
Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor) submitted by Bladup : Snowdon Cairns (Dartmoor), the top of the largest southern cairn, not a bad view!
