Great shot postman!

Moody, broody and is that a pattern of cupmarks or maybe lichen in a triangular shape under the right hand capstone?

I noticed that, too, Rune. Really bright, and symmetrical, isn't it?

It is Angie, the bottom line's a bit wobbly with four dots, but hand-made etc... Being as there is no mention or sight of it on any other photos we have, my guess is it's a type of lichen that is showing up in whatever lightsource Postman used and it's probably not apparent to the naked eye. But there again it seems too deliberate a placement and too symmetrical to be a natural marking. Interesting.

That pattern of dots shows clearly in the photo captioned "Looking along the side of Arthur's Stone . . . ", submitted by Angie Lake on 21st June 2011.
