The stone was recreated in 2022. The 6-8 ton stone, found in the area nearby, now lies at the entrance to the Sdr. Kirkeby Church.
The original rune stone is from about 950-1000 and the inscription reads:
'Sa(sser) placed this stone in memory of Asgot, his brother, and he died on Go(tland). May Thor hallow [these] runes.
